U.S. Lighthouse Guide is your offline companion to more than 800 lighthouses across the United States. Explore the coasts and the Great Lakes, dig into the history and details of each light, and keep a personal log of the ones you've visited. Now it also shows you the lights nearest to wherever you happen to be.
EXPLORE THE COAST
• Browse lighthouses state by state, each with photos and rich descriptions
• Detailed records: location, history, characteristics, and visitor info
• See where each lighthouse stands on the map
• Filter the map by state, or by the details you care about
FIND LIGHTHOUSES NEAR YOU
• See which ones are closest to you and how far away each is
• Choose how far to look — widen or narrow the search radius any time
• Recenter the map on where you are with one tap
LISTEN, HANDS-FREE
• Tap the speaker icon on any lighthouse page to have its history read aloud — pick your voice and speed in Settings
• Podcast-style mini-player: pause, resume, or skip back and ahead a sentence at a time
• Keeps reading while you browse other tabs or with your screen locked
KEEP YOUR LOG
• Log visits, favorites, and passport stamps
• Rate each one and add your own notes and visit dates
• Watch your progress grow state by state
BUILT FOR THE ROAD
• Works offline — lighthouse data, history, and main photos are bundled in the app (live maps and full photo galleries need a connection)
• Directions open in the navigation app you prefer
• No account, no sign-up, no ads, no tracking
Whether you're a lifelong "lighthouse bagger," chasing passport stamps, or just planning a coastal road trip, U.S. Lighthouse Guide helps you discover, find, and remember the beacons along the way.
